Today I have a fun floral project: Thanksgiving & fall holiday celebration table flowers. Not that we really have Thanksgiving holiday here in New Zealand, but I do have many American friends and to help them feel as if they were at home, I always do a celebration meal COMPLETE with appropriate table flowers. There really is something very special about enjoying a meal and good times with friends and family. For my decorating this year, this is what I will be doing. It’s so simple and easy to put together and there is no need for foam. Everything is placed into buckets and then into a bigger bucket… and you can make it as big or small as you like. That’s the best part! Things to gather:
- A large oval metal bucket - as many different sized buckets as you can fit into the largest.
- I found orange Chinese Lanterns, sunflowers, berries, pumpkins, apples, grapes, dried protea, branches, rosemary, bay tree etc, just whatever says harvest and autumn or fall will
work wonderfully. Happy Thanksgiving!
