How to sew a button onto a shirt - or whatever else might require one! If you are watching this, you probably need a helping hand – so here I am too help! And isn’t it always the way, its either the top button or the cuff!!! Very annoying and frustrating.
You will need:
- A button to replace that which has come off or one
- Needle – big enough to fit through the holes on the button
- Matching cotton or if you are stuck, dental floss works a treat
- Scissors
Here’s a tip – if your button has come off your shirt, look down the sides of the inside of the shirt towards the bottom and you will probably find a couple of spare buttons, or if you can’t find one, simply remove the bottom button. Shirt will be tucked into your pants anyway so for those emergence moments, you can get on with the task at hand… stitching on a replacement.
