I’ve had a request from Jen asking if I could give her a helping hand creating tall designs of just white hanging white wisteria & olive branches as central pieces on the reception tables at her upcoming
wedding.
Jen discovered Astar's Place several years ago while researching florals for a photoshoot. She thought she’d find the inspiration and then that would be the end of floral adventures, but she caught the floral bug and couldn’t imagine life without flowers!
Over the past few months, I’ve given her a hand creating the suspended ceiling flowers/garlands – (see video tutorial December 2023) and the end result using the wisteria, olive branches & eucalyptus is stunning.
It looks like a lot of effort but TBH it was minimal effort for maximum effect. As we speak Jen is creating the tall cylinder vases which are being chalk painted white and then further embellished with latex mouldings.
To create the designs to be placed into the containers, you will need to gather:
- 1 x branch of olive with fruit.
- 2 or 3 branches of eucalyptus.
- 4 hanging white wisteria.
- 3 or 4 white phalaenopsis or moth orchids.
