This elongated low table arrangement incorporates both fresh and artificial flowers and foliage. The base consisting could be made well in advance of Christmas and fresh flowers like, lilies or roses placed the day before - OR simply make the whole design with artificial forms and put aside for next year.
Things to gather:
- An elongated trough. I used a terracotta trough which I gave a quick lick of white paint and then sand papered off areas to give that shabby chic old and worn look.
- Foam to fill. Is using all fresh you will need green soak foam.
- Cover foam with baby tear plants or moss
- Spruce, conifer or similar heavy based wintery type foliage.
- Lilies, roses, carnations & foliage to fill of your choice.
- You could also incorporate Christmas baubles, berries, cones.
