For this arrangement, once again I called on my favourite embellishing technique - decoupage. My vase started life clear glass which I painted with 2 coats of cream paint. The white I usually use was too shark, so I just added a drop or two of yellow acrylic paint until I achieved a warmer tone.
The images decoupaged were cut from a couple of citrus printed paper napkins.
Additionally, because the glass vase wasn’t sturdy enough, I glued a thick hunk of wood to the base of the vase which I painted & decoupaged to match vase. This is a great way of making container appear taller!
