I did this design a while ago now and said I’d return with different ways in which to incorporate other materials to suit different occasions or should I say, to fulfil other obligations. I do like a great green or mixed foliage display. These give balance and harmony to any room and as an when you need to change it up, it’s just a matter of popping in something botanical to suit.
I love it when I create something and you guys come up with suggestions to further enhance the design. Today, I must thank Jesse who always comes up with some really good ideas. His suggestion was to include tropical red orchids which might look good for Christmas and he was spot on!
In this video I talk about embellishing the exterior of the vase and bringing that depicted up through and into the design, often referred to – ‘as above, as below’.
Once all materials have been gathered, it’s just a matter of seeking the orchids and colours of your choice!
