I love the spring and I love and adore the simplistic beauty of tulips. This is another of my ‘cheat designs’. The design base I am using today started off weeks ago. The magnolia foliage went in first and it seriously does LAST. I also incorporated artificial berries – and they will last FOREVER.
Over the weeks the design has had twigs sprouting blossom, a few single spring flowers as they appeared in my garden, magnolia, camelia, rhododendrons etc. And because I usually always cover the foam with baby tear plant, they continue to grow and if I don’t have access to flowers, the green of the magnolia alongside the lovely softness of the baby tears, is still perfect. If stuck, candles placed amongst the leaves and berries, gives a something green and simple on my dinner table.
