Today we are celebrating Astar's Place reaching 100,000 subscribers! A big thank you to everyone for your support, ideas, and for joining the family - YAHOO!
To celebrate, I'm going to show you how to create a table centre piece using an empty Moet Champagne box as the central showcase container and incorporating two elements - white roses and gold paint finished honesty and a little bubble flower.
Have you a special occasion coming up for perhaps a wedding, anniversary or like me it’s a major milestone celebration and you want a design that is simple elegant, doesn’t take much work and will look stunning as a centre piece on your table?
To create this display, you will need:
- Depending on your table size 1 or 2 empty Moet Champagne
box (s).
- A sharp craft knife to cut and create a space in to one side of box big enough to hold wet/dry floral foam, plus your need a water proof container to fit down inside the box if using the wet foam.
Take short stems of gold honesty and insert into foam.
Cut all roses to the same size and insert into create a mounded cushion or dome effect.
Use the bubble flower to fill in spaces and hide what foam might still be showing.
Super simple, very elegant and the combination of white/cream roses with the gold honesty picks up the colourway of the Moet Champagne box beautifully.
Several of these running down an elongated table with candles placed on crisp white table linen would look superb on any table for any occasion.
Of course, because it will be a celebration question what champagne we will be enjoying as we mark this very special milestone? It seemed such a waste not to use the boxes that the wine came in!!!
