How to make liquid soap base using either a cake of soap or lux soap flakes. This makes about a litre of base. It is so cheap and such fun to make!
You will need:
- 1 cup Lux flakes or a cake of grated soap of your choice
- 4 cups water
- 1 tbsp vegetable glycerine
1. Bring to boil and stir well until above has dissolved.
2. Leave to set over night.
3. Next day, whisk to remove any lumps to achieve a lovely gel
consistency.
4. Store in labelled container
