Many requests have been received for less is more, super simple, budget friends & as is the design trend of late, just foliage and branches. Tbh, this is a wonderful trend slowly coming back into fashion. What could be nicer than a gorgeous container and simply placed, foliage & a few twigs or branches.
In this new series, I want to share how to take that HEAVINESS of black and bring the tone down a level or two. Now don’t get me wrong, black is my basic colour but the trends of late are for greyed tonal black values and if you don’t have one, let me share how to drop that tone.
Things to gather –
- Black rustic container – or something black and unglazed.
- White chalk.
- Foliage of your choice – either magnolia or eucalyptus, gum, salal, hydrangea etc.
- Twisty willow, bare branches etc.
