What better way of welcoming friends and family to your home to celebrate Easter than with a door wreath covered in mixed Spring flowers. My Spring has long since gone, but to cheat the season I made this wreath with artificial flowers (you could use fresh spring flowers but it will only last but a short time), at the start of my Spring many months ago with the knowing it would come in handy and have more than one outing or occasion in which to reign supremely.
Everyone who called at my door in the Spring, all commented on how lovely it looked. As the season changed, I took it down knowing come Easter it would be back up, but this time encrusted in foil covered eggs.
Basically, all you do is gather together a selection of mixed spring flowers, cut the heads of the stems and simply glue these around to cover the base of the wreath.
Once that is made, to take your wreath into the Easter celebrating theme simply fix foil covered eggs using ribbon down amongst the flowers in a uniform even manner.
Happy Easter to each and every one!
