What’s not to love about a Dahlia? Native to Mexico, worshipped by the Aztec, and made famous by Empress Josephine. Glorious! When most of the late summer blooms ‘will’ be to gone, there they are in shades tones and tints of almost every colour, reigning supremely. I like to call them blender and connective flowers because there is a colourway that will pull and bring any design into place. Now that’s a defining attribute?
Simply put into a vase with a few sprigs of this or that and perhaps a few late summer rose blooms and visual volumes have been spoken.
You will need to gather:
- A vase or container of your choice,
- Olive branch
- Eucalyptus Gum
- Yellow Dahlia
- Orange Dahlia
- Burgundy Red Dahlia
