Floristry Design Tutorial: Green Poppy Pods, Hydrangeas and White Daisies in a Vintage Boat Dish

Channels / Flowers & Floristry Tutorials

By request, here I am to help those needing help creating a simple 1950’s inspired Constance Spry design of dried poppy pods, dried hydrangea and a few daisies & a few sprigs of honesty.

This is a beautiful little design that would look lovely resting on a mantel, side board or a space that needs a little attention or filling. The design is small and doesn’t require much to achieve impact.

You will need:
- A vintage boat vase.
- Chicken mess to fill.
- Lots of dried off poppy pods.
- A large dried and dyed green hydrangea head.
- Several stems of daises.
- A few stems of honesty or similar.
