Here's a floristry tutorial on how to make an artificial sunflower door wreath. This design has been created for Suzette - a subscriber living in America.
- Take 10 long stems artificial sunflowers with a few leaves on each stem.
- Take 4 long stems pieces of twisty branches. Mine where almost as long as the sunflower stems.
- Take some twin or rope.
The secret to an informal free form natural wreath is best achieved when hand-tied. Once finished, hang on door and enjoy this happy bright and welcoming symbol of eternal joy and life, on your front door!
In the language of flowers, sunflowers represent adoration and pride. Well, you would take great pride in being able to follow the sun from a lofty height all day.
