How to make an arrangement using Hydrangea cuttings and flowers for future growth and then transplanting to garden. It's a great long-lasting design that will continue to grow and change as the days and weeks pass!

It’s late summer here in my land and the Hydrangea plants and flowers are looking wonderful. If you are looking for an easy design to use and utilize both stems and flowers, then this design might help. It's easy to look at and easy to put together, and once the stems have sprouted they will be ready for transplanting.

Method:
- Find a tin bucket and glass vase that will sit easily down inside bucket and out of sight.
- Place inside bucket and fill with water, then add water to bucket or you could use wet green oasis foam.
- Take or cut as many hydrangea as necessary to surround rim of tin can and cut, then insert to form a collar or ring around container. Cut all remaining ends of cut stems to the same length and place into water filled vase.
- Now wait and watch. If doing this design in late summer, you will find that the flowers will last weeks, and as the stems start to shoot leaves, the ends will start to sprout roots – all by themselves just in the water.
- As Autumn calls, transplant sprouted stems into the garden.
