Kia Ora and much aroha to the many New Zealand Kiwi’s living abroad! I know you get homesick at this time of the year, so I wanted to share how to bring a touch of kiwiana in your lives over the holiday season with this very easy floral design!

You will need:
- a vase or container. I used a classic glass urn which I paint finished in our wonderful traditional iron oxide red.
- To further embellish the vase, I used a small green plastic Tiki which I paint finished white and then to make the leaves that surround the Tiki, a latex leaf pattern cake mould & air-dry paper clay. You’ll find these at the craft store.
- For the botanicals, hunt out some ferns, a few stems of Pohutukawa, a bunch of wax flower which is exactly like our manuka flower, a few spiky bare branches and let the magic begin.
