For the Woodlands Christmas Table Floristry Arrangement you will need:
- A round wooden chopping board in a size to suit. This will be the base to rest the completed design on.
- A rustic wire bird cage or dome. The one I used is what we to serve cheese on in this house, but it gets used for many occasion.
- Several branches of thick fresh or artificial spruce that has a few cones on. They need to be long enough to wind around each other to form a wreath effect that will surround middle rustic dome.
- To fill dome, you will need glass baubles and battery powered LED fairy lights.
- Couple of pieces of fresh or artificial gum.
- A few mistletoe berries (optional- I didn't end up using these in my design)

Method of construction:
- Turn cage or dome over and insert fairy lights and glass baubles. -
Gently position down into the middle section of chopping board or wooden disc.
- Take spruce and form a wreath shape big enough to surround dome.
- Fix to secure using wire or string.
- Repeat with gum to rest on top of spruce.
- Place if desired cream colour mistletoe sprigs or berries.

This is super easy to achieve. Understated but when lights are on, has an air of elegance! Perfect for my Christmas table.

Happy holidays,
love Astar.
