An easy craft project to display unused coins from travelling

Channels / Arts and Crafts Tutorials

What to do with those leftover coins gathered during travel? Usually there is a box at the Airport where you can leave it to a worthy charity, but for reasons beyond me, the odd coin finds its way home! I have a box of odd little coins and even more since my trip to Japan, and I was thinking about what I could do with all the little coins and decided it would be better on display then stuck into a box. After much thought this is what I have come up with!

See video on how to paint finish using Porters Liquid Tin effect paint where I paint finished a cardboard constructed mannequin bust. You can have a look for liquid tin paint on Amazon here: https://amzn.to/32VE91b

Thank goodness I keep most of what I make because this is the perfect base on which to simply hot glue my coin collection. It now takes pride of place in my entrance way and a lovely reminder of where I have been and a great talking point.
