A Bridal Bouquet: Pink mink protea, white peonies, roses, ranunculus & magnolia | Wedding Flowers

Channels / Wedding Ideas

I have been longing to get into this series for some time and apologize for the timely delay. There have been so many requests for bouquets, men’s button hole flowers, corsages, head garlands or floral crowns, church and table flowers and now is the time – I’m here to help.

Most of you asked for handheld bouquets, which are currently the preferred style and I must say the easiest to make. Personally, I still love a good wired bouquet which take hours of wiring, but gives a smaller handle and a lighter to carry completed bouquet.

Loose round and informal is the best way to describe this style of handheld bouquet. You could use fresh but as I’ve discovered from zooming into a recent International Floral Association & Flower
Growers conference, Covid has caused a worldwide storage and supply of many wedding blooms. All is not lost and I am so pleased with what I’ve created for http://www.prestigebotanicals.com. My intension was to create blooms that were as near to nature as possible and when nature couldn’t provide, then there would be an excellent alternative.

You will need:
- 2 pink mink proteas
- 3 white peonies
- 2 or 3 stems blush apricot pink ranunculus, 2 stems short white magnolia, 2 blush pink roses, 2 stems dusty miller & seed eucalyptus
- 3 medium sized arelia leaves. These are used for base support and framing of your finished bouquet.
- Cable ties to bind and secure stems.
