Elongated Table Flowers Design: Orchids and Succulents in a Cane Basket

Channels / Flowers & Floristry Tutorials

How to make an informal rustic elongated table centre piece using orchids, succulents and a candle.

I love this type of simple rustic designing. Takes but a few components and moments to put together. Perfect for busy people.

This is all you need:
I used a cane ‘French bread’ basket. Lovely and long and not too wide.
Line with plastic.
A sufficient wet green foam to fill basket.
A few orchid blooms.
A few succulents to tone with orchid.
A rustic type candle to fit easily into the middle of the basket.

Several of these running down a long table would look fabulous for a Barn themed event!

Happy designing!
